3M Company and Michigan International Speedway (MIS) announced that 3M will be the title sponsor of the June 18 "3M Performance 400" Nextel Cup Series race at MIS. This year will mark the first of three years of 3M sponsorship of Nextel Cup races at MIS. In addition to its title sponsorship of the 3M Performance 400, 3M is the primary sponsor of Busch Series driver Todd Kluever who will pilot the #06 3M Ford Fusion throughout the 2006 season for Roush Racing. Kluever will replace Mark Martin in the Nextel Cup Series in 2007. 3M's title sponsorship will complement the 3M Car Care Auto Fair to be held on the MIS grounds during the August 18-20, 2006, race weekend. The fair will showcase more than 250 collector cars and host thousands of NASCAR fans during the GFS Marketplace 400 weekend at MIS.
